For the Love of Ikat

If you’re a textile-phile, you probably already know of and have fallen in love with Ikat fabric. Rooted in Indonesian culture, Ikat simply means “to bind” and describes a simple way of tye-dying the yarns before weaving. Since 2008, Ikat has been a popular fabric choice for everything from evening dresses to couches.
